Let's start at the beginning..every year I buy a stuffed lion and send it home with a student a week. They take the lion wherever they go and take pictures of their weekend. Then they glue them in a notebook and write about it. They bring the lion back on Monday and share their adventures with the lion. This year I bought 2 lions...a girl and a boy one. I am starting out this year by taking the lion home and documenting my weekend with the lions. Woke up this morning and took a picture of the lions helping me make breakfast, and playing with my cat. Then I figured I'd take the lions over my mom's house and take a few pictures over there...well my day turned out way more eventful than that! :)
I got a call from a friend asking if I wanted to go and get some lottery tickets. I thought...how random....my next thought....YES! So we drove down to Arizona and bought some tickets.....however I had never been to the place so...we had a good ole' time trying to find it. Then as we were driving home...we decided to stop at another place and buy my dad a few tickets as well...hopefully we hit it big and are millionaires soon. After that we decided to continue on our gambling streak...and go play bingo....unfortunately...we weren't winners at bingo...but I'm still optimistic about the lottery. After that :all you can eat taco's at amigos!
Last but not least movies with some other friends. Which brings me to the title of this blog: Germs. I have NEVER been a germ-a-phobe. EVER. This movie made me re-think my take on germs. These types of movies always freak me out...because they could in fact happen. Diseases are something that you can't see...and its pretty hard to stop something that you can't see. I hope I never live to see something like this happen in real life. However, I enjoyed the movie...even if some parts were a little graphic and kinda freaked me out. Maybe it will inspire me to wash my hands more often.
Finally Today is Day 7: Post a picture of someone you miss I miss these 3 kids more than I can express! We were so close, and I don't think I will ever get over how much I miss them! They were my life....and they moved to Texas. I feel like a parent who went through a divorce and never got to see my kids again! A piece of my heart is in Texas with them!
